The agenda (pdf-file, 165 kB) for the annual America's Cluster City Program is ready! It will take place in Quito-Ecuador from June 6 to 8, 2006. The Municipality of Quito and EMI are hosting this regional event which is sponsored by UNDP, the Provention Consortium, the Pacific Disaster Center and Kobe University. Delegates from the municipalities and leading research centers from Los Angeles and Mexico will join their counterparts from the five Andean capital cities, Bogotá, Caracas, La Paz, Lima and Quito to discuss best options for municipal disaster risk management systems. A round table where several international organizations active in the region will envision possible options of cooperation is also scheduled for June 7 in the afternoon.
