A comparative analysis of Disaster Risk Management Practices in Seven Megacities will be presented at the Second Asian Conference on Earthquake Engineering which will be held in Manila-Philippines from March 10-11, 2006. The paper utilizes the Hyogo Frame of Action and a survey conducted within the cities with the assistance of local stakeholders. Several members of the 3cd Program Implementation Team will make presentations at the special session on Cross-Cutting issues in Earthquake Disaster Management.
