Current status of the 3cd Program in Metropolitan Manila is briefly summarized here. Next steps have been agreed with the local investigator Dr. Renato Solidum, it includes a training on the Map Viewer tool for Metro Manila on April 27 and 28, 2006, by colleagues of the Pacific Disaster Center. A week-long fieldtrip has been also scheduled for May 22, 2006, which includes several follow up activities and a workshop on a new risk communication tool: Indicators for Risk Reduction and Risk Management for Megacities.
