EMI is still accepting applicants to its online course titled Reducing Disaster Risks through Land Use Planning which will run from March 23 to April 19, 2009. This specialized course will provide participants a general background on the trends and experiences in integrating disaster risk reduction into land use and urban planning. Participants to complete the course will receive a certificate from the World Bank Institute and EMI.
Prospective participants must be:
- Computer literate, especially in the use of Internet;
- Can access the Internet and devote at least two (2) hours a day for eLearning; and
- Have a background in disaster risk management.
Course fees are as follows:
