Asia Megacities Forum to be held in April
The Asia Megacities Forum is now set to take place on April 22-24, 2009 in Mumbai, India. The Forum was originally scheduled in early December of last year, but it was cancelled due to several impeding circumstances that would have affected the quality of and participation to the Forum.Ê
The event is being co-organized by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), Government of Maharashtra, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), and EMI to provide the venue for major and complex cities in Asia to exchange knowledge and experiences in urban DRR.
