EMI, thru its KM Asst. Mr. Jerome Cruz, attended the launching and training orienation on the DRR Project Portal. Established through the efforts of the ISDR Asia Partnership (IAP), Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The objectives of the project portal are the following:

• Share information on implementation of DRR: Who? What? Where?
• Collectively identify gaps, improve planning and programming on DRR
• Identify areas of cooperation on implementation of DRR

The project portal aims to help DRR implementing agencies, national governments, and funding institutions to plan and map out potential DRR related project and initiatives and search for partners in implementation.

In support of this online tool, EMI has uploaded project information on  completed and ongoing DRR initiatives to the platform.
