ISDR-Asia Partnership to hold meeting in Incheon
The second meeting of the ISDR-Asia Partnership (IAP) in 2010 will be held on 11-13 August 2010 at Incheon, Korea. The meeting will focus on the 2009-11 cycle of HFA progress review, development of the Roadmap and the presentations for the Fourth Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction to be held on 25-28 October 2010.
The agenda is framed for action in particular by the three IAP working groups (WG), namely: (1) the WG on regional mapping of DRR initiatives; (2) the WG on regional HFA reporting and, (3) the WG on preparations for the next Asian Ministerial Meeting. In addition, the meeting will also provide an opportunity for IAP members to exchange some recent experiences and core developments in their DRR work in the region as a useful approach to keep each other informed in the spirit of true partnership building.
Over 50 participants are expected from member countries, international organizations, and NGOs.

5th Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting of the IAP initiative on Regional Stocktaking and
Mapping of DRR interventions

Model 4th AMCDRR
Location: 18th Floor, Meet- You-All Tower
Date: 11th August

Participants: High-school and International School students.
Purpose: This session aims to expand the base of the discussion on the disaster risk reduction and to improve students’ recognition on the climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction, the Model 4th AMCDRR will be held during the IAP meeting as a representation of the 4th Asian Ministerial
Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (4th AMCDRR) held in Songdo, Incheon on October 25th – 28th, 2010.
