Land use planning team off to Kathmandu for strategic planning
EMI's Land Use Planning Team is off to Kathmandu from November 3 to 11, as part of the Phase 2 of the FFO project on mainstreaming DRR in Nepal's capital. The team is composed of Dr. Tabassam Raza, Project Manager; Dr. Marqueza Reyes, Task Leader; and Marino Deocariza, Socio-economic Planner.
EMI is set to meet with NSET-Nepal and Kathmandu Metropolitan City officials to follow up on the arrangements established in Phase 1, gather additional data, and hold a strategic planning workshop for Phase 2.
