The Comprehensive Disaster Risk Management Framework (CDRMF) course was successfully completed on 7 July 2008. It is the first of the eight online courses under the WBI/NDCC/EMI Distance Learning Program on Natural Disaster Risk Management (NDRMP).
Sixty-six out of 88 participants who originally enrolled in the program were able to pass the framework course. This makes for an 80% passing rate, a 15% increase from the first delivery of the course in September 2006. The participants went through four weeks of learning modules, assignments, discussion forums, and an End-of-Course Project (ECP) to complete the course requirements.

By passing the introductory course, the successful participants are now eligible to enroll in succeeding specialized courses under the NDRMP. Each will receive a Certificate of Completion from the World Bank Institute.
