Tomorrow, 13 October 2011, the world will be celebrating the International Day for Disaster Reduction. This is organized by the UN International Strategy for Disaster Reduction every year on the 13th of October to raise awareness about reducing risks related to natural disasters. This year the theme is centered on children and young people as partners for disaster risk reduction.
