First Barangay Consultation Meeting on Makati Risk-Sensitive Urban Redevelopment Planning Held
Thirty officials from seven barangays in Makati City and a number of City Government officials attended the Barangay Consultation Meeting on the Makati Risk Sensitive Urban Redevelopment Planning Project held last September 3, 2008 at the New Makati City Hall. The Earthquakes and Megacities Initiative (EMI), together with the City Government of Makati, enjoined the barangay officials as active partners in the proposed redevelopment planning project in Makati City. Barangay is the smallest territorial unit in the Philippines.
